Lucinda and David’s wedding in Bala- The full story

Well! Lucinda and David did it. They’ve only gone and had their wedding in Bala.
They chose the beautiful town of Bala in north Wales for their wedding.
The day started off very early at the Bala lake hotel where all the wedding guests were dressed and ready for some fun and games in the rain. There was archery, football and laser clay pigeon shooting. All done in gales and rain and sleet and hailstones. From what I saw everyone had a real blast and thoroughly enjoyed the morning.
Even Lucinda and David were there. None of the traditional ‘don’t see the bride before the wedding’ stuff here. They just got on and enjoyed themselves.
After lunch it was time to get ready for the wedding!
You’ve got to love a bride who gets ready for her wedding wearing a SpongeBob onesie and elephant slippers 🙂
The ceremony was in the beautiful Christ church in Bala. It has just been refurbished and it looked fab, just perfect for a wedding in Bala
I love it when my couples put some thought and effort into their wedding day.
For the first dance David surprised Lucinda by actually singing the first verse of their first dance tune. A lovey-dovey slow dance? No no no, it was only The Bare Necessities from the Jungle Book movie. That certainly got the guests cheering and smiling 🙂
Here are a few wedding photographs from Lucinda and David’s wedding at Bala lake hotel. I hope you like them.
Make sure you leave the happy couple a nice message in the comments box at the end of this post.
