Weddings at Tavern on the bay, Anglesey – Stacey and Nick got married

A couple of weeks ago I popped over to Anglesey for the wedding of Stacey and Nick. Weddings at Tavern on the bay are just the best!

They are both from Stockport but chose Anglesey for their wedding because of the beautiful scenery and they love the place.

I met up with the girls in Beaumaris and photographed the final stages of their preparations at the Old Bull’s Head.

Everyone was in good spirits with just a couple of tears and a bit of a wobble from Stacey as the time to leave grew near.

Nick and the boys obviously had a pint in the bar prior to leaving and Nick (outwardly anyway) looked calm and very chilled.

After the wedding ceremony in Beaumaris we stopped for a few photographs by Menai Bridge before heading over to Red Wharf Bay for the wedding reception.

This was at The Tavern on the Bay. A beautiful little venue right on the beach.

The only problem was it was raining way too hard to do anything outside.

The party hit new heights after the wedding speeches when the bride and groom had secretly arranged for singing waiters to perform a set for everyone.

They were brilliant! They got everyone up and dancing, even the older members of the wedding party were having a fantastic time.

Amazingly at around 6:30 the clouds parted and we were greeted by a lovely warm sunset.

Outside we ran to make the most of the 30 minutes of light that we had left. This totally made Stacey and Nick’s day as the whole reason for choosing this venue was because of the beach.

We left the evening reception in full swing and everyone partying hard.
