A vow renewal at Bodnant Welsh Food was just about the perfect antidote to this year’s lockdown and the decimation of the wedding industry.
Jo and Keith contacted me in July about renewing their wedding vows to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in August. It was all supposed to happen in the USA but we all know what’s happened to international travel at the moment. The Conwy valley is almost exactly like Florida anyway so it was the obvious choice.
They travelled up from Kent and had planned on making the most of the summer weather here in North Wales. As expected though, the weather was the complete opposite of summer weather, rainy and humid. Still, that didn’t stop us. I love umbrellas in wedding photos, and we certainly needed one.
The afternoon was rounded off by a scrummy afternoon tea at Bodnant Welsh food, with the traditional selection of sandwiches and cakes.
