A spring wedding at the Quay hotel

Shauna and Carwyn finally got their spring wedding at the Quay hotel.

I say finally, only because they had two years of multiple date changes, and a venue change due to covid. They certainly are not alone in that statistic, with several of my weddings this year that should have already been celebrated.

After meeting Shauna in the morning for some bridal prep photographs with her parents, bridesmaids, pageboys and flowergirls it was time for their beautiful ceremony on Anglesey, in the heart of Amlwch.

It was super sunny, and super windy too which played havoc with everyone’s hair and fascinators.

After their wedding ceremony in Amlwch we all headed over the water to Deganwy. Their wedding reception was in the Quay hotel and spa, which overlooks the stunning Conwy estuary.

It was time for family group photos, food, speeches, bride and groom portraits, and dancing.

I always love a dad and daughter dance, and Shauna and her dad did a cracking job.

One of Shauna’s bridesmaids sang their first dance song in Welsh too, which was a bit of a hightlight.

All in all, a lovely day at a spring wedding at the Quay hotel.
