Summer wedding at Henblas country park
All the way back in May I was invited to photograph Becky and Tomos’ summer wedding in Henblas country park.
It’s a fantastic wedding venue on Anglesey, with beautiful views across the island.
The girls were getting ready at the venue, and everyone was on great form, with equal amounts of smiles, laughter, and tears. That was especially true when a bridesmaid showed Becky a video created by her family and friends. It was emotional!
Tomos and the boys got their glam on away from the venue, and travelled the short distance to greet the guests, and have a pint. You really can’t go wrong with black tie- it’s classy as!
Dads that get emotional.
I love it when the bride’s father loses it when he sees his little girl dressed as a bride. Becky’s dad certainly did that, and it was a true moment!
As a dad of two boys myself, I can only imagine the emotion of a bride’s dad. I know I’ll be an emotional wreck when/if my boys ever get married. No rush though eh boys 🙂
After the beautiful wedding ceremony, it was time for drinks, canapes, group pictures, and time to chill and enjoy the day
A trip out in the wedding car
Becky and Tomos wanted to disappear for a short time, away from their guests, so jumped in their wedding car and drove a few minutes to find a pretty spot.
It was well worth those few minutes, because we created some awesome bride and groom portraits.
Then it was back to Henblas country park for their wedding breakfast, some golden hour portraits, and on to the evening dancing and fun.
