An autumn wedding at the Hayloft, Bodnant

Emma and Baran had their autumn wedding at the Hayloft, Bodnant last September. It was a superb day, with plenty of laughs along the way.

I’m a sucker for a wedding with black tie. It just scream class, and to be fair, Baran did look the part!

Emma and her bridesmaids got ready in the Farmhouse at Bodnant Welsh food, which is a beautiful space for the final moments of bridal prep.

Weddings in Bodnant are always in the Pochin room. It’s next to the restaurant and the bar, which is always helpful for guests.

Both rooms were decorated impeccably, and the autumn theme really came through.

A simple civil ceremony and that was it, they are married!

Once the confetti was thrown, and the formal family photos were finished, it was time for a few minutes with Emma and Baran.

The grounds were deserted by the time we went for a stroll. There’s plenty of little spaces where we could create some compelling bride and groom portraits.

Finishing off in the field overlooking the absolutely stunning Conwy Valley is always my favourite place.

Once we’d finished it was time for the dancing at partying.
