A lovely Blue Acre wedding with a celebrant
This is my first ever Blue Acre wedding, but I hope it’s not my last. The shepherd’s hut is gorgeous.
It’s such a pretty venue I’d be disappointed if I don’t get the chance to go back again.
Hayley and Stuart chose Blue Acre for their wedding because of its natural beauty, and it suited them perfectly. Set in the Conwy valley, it’s in the most beautiful location.
Luckily, the notoriously unpredictable North Wales weather actually played nicely for us. The sun shone, there was no wind, so the outdoor ceremony was just stunning.
A wedding with two wedding ceremonies!
After Hayley’s dad walked her to the shepherd’s hut the registrars conducted the legal ceremony in front of Hayley and Stuart’s friends and family.
Once that was signed and sealed the best part of the ceremony happened. Sarah, from Ceremonies with personality conducted a very personal, bespoke wedding ceremony. It had so much detail about Hayley and Stuart, which drew everyone in and made it a truly memorable Blue Acre wedding.
After that their children joined them to be part of a sand mixing ceremony. The ceremony involved the bride and groom, along with their children each pouring a container of coloured sand into a larger container, signifying the merging of their individual lives into one family.
It was really lovely!!
Once the Blue Acre wedding ceremony was over it was time for fun, games, drinks, photos and food.
